A week-long gathering on the Sunshine Coast bringing together some of Canada’s top young classical talent. A chance for the waves and ripples of musicians from across the country to co-resonate in this vibrant area. Two extraordinary concerts in two extraordinary community arts spaces.

Founded by Duo Mycelia members Simon Gidora and Isabella Perron, Pacific Resonance is a yearly summer classical music festival featuring extraordinary classical musicians from across Canada and abroad. With a mandate to bring the finest in musical performance to the communities of the Sunshine Coast (both lower and upper) the festival culminates in two performances, in Sechelt at the Rockwood Pavilion on Friday July 17th, and in qathet (Powell River) at The Arts Hub at tiskʷat on Saturday July 18th. During their stay, artists from Pacific Resonance are also active in the community to bring live music to long-term care facilities, as well as leading educational workshops organized through the festival.
